The Belton New Tech Dragons officially opened their competitive golf season on Thursday, September 10, at Stonetree Golf Course in Killeen, Texas, with Jadrian A. Juarbe-Medina and Andrew D. McCall representing the Dragons in the program’s first tournament of the season.
The tournament provided both golfers with an opportunity to put their skills to the test in a competitive setting and gain valuable experience on the course. Juarbe-Medina and McCall represented Belton New Tech throughout the round as they navigated Stonetree and worked to build confidence for the tournaments ahead.
For the Dragons, the opening tournament was about more than the final score. Each competitive round gives the golfers an opportunity to improve course management, decision-making, putting, and the mental side of tournament golf.
With their first tournament now in the books, the Dragons will look to build on the experience as the season continues.
Congratulations to Jadrian Juarbe-Medina and Andrew McCall on representing Belton New Tech in the Dragons’ first golf tournament of the season!
